Seen and Highly Rated On

Dark ruby. Full bodied with high tannins. Aromas of black and red cherries, chocolate, vanilla, plums, leather. Long finish. Tempted to say the Albanian answer to Amarone. It’s certainly high in alcohol at 16% and also certainly delicious.

But first…SHËNDEVERË! This is how an usual meal begins. We have baptized this new product with one of the most beautiful Albanian words, which expresses the joy and happiness of the soul. Shendeverë is a sparkling wine, obtained by refining in bottles for 48 months of wine produced from autochthonous Berat grapes Puls.

Over the years, the Çobo winery has created its own archive in order to have a history, but at the same time to see the evolution of wine over the years. The first and oldest label the canteen has is the Kashmer of 2000.
