Dark ruby. Full bodied with high tannins. Aromas of black and red cherries, chocolate, vanilla, plums, leather. Long finish. Tempted to say the Albanian answer to Amarone. It’s certainly high in alcohol at 16% and also certainly delicious.

Michel Tardy (Vivino.com)

Lots of tannins, too much oak, full body, fruity acids, dark earthy, long tail. Powerful.

Çobo is one of the best wines in Albania. It’s grape variety of four different grapes, mainly Sheshi i Zi (local grape), Merlot and Cabernet. The wine is mature and complex. Very good
